Tour Details

Delve into the rolling landscape of the Cotswolds, and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), renowned for its quintessentially English chocolate box villages, lively market towns and honey coloured hues. We base the tour on the outskirts of the cathedral city of Gloucester, in a recently refurbished, former manor house, set in 12 acres of Cotswold Greenery. Take the opportunity to explore it's surrounding counties, and some great experiences.

Please note the below suggested experience and fixtures are subject to availability, and can be amended to suit the needs of your group.

Day 1

The coach will pick you up from your destination of choice in the morning, and you will travel onto our first fixture at Barnwood Bowls Club. After a light lunch and a game at the club, you make your way to the hotel, only 3 miles away. Enjoy a tea and coffee on arrival during check in then there is time to freshen up before dinner.

Day 2

Follow in famous footsteps and escape into the peaceful surroundings of an attractive Cotswolds manor virtually unchanged for 400 years at Chavenage House. In the afternoon, play a fixture at Cirencester Bowls Club.

Day 3

Venture further afield to Herefordshire - spend the morning in the town of Ross-on-Wye, playing a local friendly fixture in the afternoon.

Day 4

After an afternoon fixture and a light lunch, the coach will take you on a short tour of the Cotswolds, before heading back to relax at the hotel.

Day 5

On our final day, we can depart the hotel after a leisurely breakfast.

Our Bowls Club spent 5 days / 4 nights on a Tour to Worcester in September. All the arrangements were made by Bowling Tours....who were friendly, helpful and very efficient, taking great care to support me as this was the first Tour I had been responsible for. Answering all my questions and providing excellent advice. Our hotel in Worcester (The Whitehouse) was welcoming and comfortable.....excellent food and friendly staff. A great location to use as a base to play matches against local Clubs. Our group, of just 24 members, had a great time - and the amazing weather enabled us to enjoy some of the sights of Worcester in our free time.... Thank You !

Thank you Bowling Tours for arranging our hotel in Cornwall. 40 of us stayed at the Esplanade Hotel in Newquay for 5 nights. The staff were extremely helpful, all the rooms were excellent, the food was of a very high quality and the entertainment first rate. Well done Bowling Tours this is the second year you have catered for us admirably.

We have just returned from a four-day tour organised by Bowling Tours. We stayed at the Queen's Hotel in Paignton which was an excellent hotel - great food and entertainment and the staff couldn't do enough to help - we highly recommend it. The coach and driver were very good. There was good communication with Kahing and the team at Bowling Tours which helped make the whole weekend go very smoothly.
